Quality control

mcs emphasises product quality and safety and therefore is not only member of the German Gesamtverband der Werbemittel-Wirtschaft e.V. (the German industry association of the promotional products industry GWW) and supports the code of ethics of this organisation, but also subscribes to the rules and regulations of sustainable sourcing (following ISO 18617). As a basic principle, our products comply with the standards of the European Union (CE) and its REACH regulations. (REACH requires manufacturers or importers into the EU to evaluate substances of concern, such as carcinogenic chemicals or materials harmful for the environment and their potential negative impacts on human health or the environment.)

Sourcing textiles, we also focus on products in adherence with Standard 100 by Oeko Tex, a non-mandatory labelling organisation with its own set of criteria to insure against harmful substances such as carcinogenic dyes or pesticides in the goods.
